Full fat GT430 not the Sport we originally specified and ordered.

Central Lotus/Lotus dealt with the change without any drama, or at least not for us.

Yup. Was gonna say £5k per set. About same price as 410 OEMs from Lotus. They do look nice though. Hmmmm....

how much of the GT430's advantage was due to the Ohlins TTX dampers? I wonder how the 410 would perform with the Ohlins TTX option at £5500

Wait a second can i ask for a head count? how many 430's GT and GT Sport are roaming the British country lanes I'm under the impression that the initial allocation has been reached and then forgotten... or was it a MY allocation?

Not sure how many are roaming the British country lanes, but I know one thing it's been a great success after everyone where up in arms saying Lotus will never sell a car at over 100k, well done Lotus and now the departed JMG.

My feeling is the allocation has been forgotten completely. Last count I think 26 UK cars and rising.

Bloody hell. So much for six! Personally I think Lotus should have always taken the "Give us money and we'll build you one" approach from the off, which they did with the Exige 430 Cup.

It's part of the reason I got fed up of Porsche - all this limited edition BS to make speculators, not enthusiasts happy.

For what it's worth, there is absolutely zero mention on the Lotus website of any limit on numbers, I can't recall if there is a plaque in the cars saying "1 of 60" or similar. I don't think there was.
