If you see your car for sale, and it's not. That would be one way.

 

It's things like "contact us via this email, as the ebay account will not get to us", or "contact us and we'll get paypal to invoice you", or where the car is abroad and they'll arrange a shipping agent for you but you have to pay via bank transfer.

Oh,and the obvious one the car is way too cheap.

Most common one just now ends in, contact Ian directly on +++. This guy has about 50 cars for sale at super cheap prices.

As soon as I see this scam advert - I’m just bidding straight at £50k. Others are doing the same - seems to be the most effective way to ensure the stupid aren’t parted from their hard earned

Fair one - knowing the provenance of the car though probably means seals and gaskets will be leaking all over the place

Yeah the genuine owner if selling it - he posted details on facebook the other day. You can actually see the car in real life before having to send a western union payment to Uganda ?
