I see Murrays have finally sold their grey demo 400. Interesting, they held out for £67950, yet jct still can't sell their car and it's been down to £62500.

I saw that too, irked, there's now at least four on the road up here now. I don't feel as speshul any more.

Think yourself lucky Colin, we have three 400s, in my village and the adjacent one combined, four 400s within 10 miles if you include James's.  My wife is mortified!  I suspect she will start a personal vendetta on anyone who shows up in a grey one.

JCT are still pushing their orange one, back down to £62950 having gone from £62450 back to £64950 for a few weeks and now back to £62950. Do they really think people don't watch classifieds before buying?

At this rate 400s will be below £60k by xmas.

In anycase a mint Evora S was available last week at £31k and a SR IPS is still available at £40k.  Its no wonder why the plentiful NAs priced at £29-30k are all still around.

Awesome. I'm a big fan of the GP Edition (if you can live with the black, gold & red day to day). 

Just be aware that although the car was registered in 2012, it is a MY11.

I have one of these.  I use it nearly every day.  It came with a whole load of problems, but they've all been sorted out, & I'm very happy with it now.  It's an MY11, but it's one of the last, & you get suedtex seats (so much better than slippery leather) + black dash & black steering wheel - but it's still the (much better) MY11 thin wheel. Unfortunately, you still have the old style doors with door pins & the old style seals.  The off-white trim on the inside of the A-pillars annoys me (sun visors too) & I'm intending to get these trimmed when I can find the time (MY12 are black inside).

Motorsport black is a much better colour than starlight black - it's darker.  The previous owner of mine had the mirrors painted black (good decision).

If you're thinking about peeling some of the stripes off to tone it down a bit then think again - they're sprayed on at the factory.  The "Lotus" & "Evora S" lettering are spayed onto the back of the car - an improvement on the plastic stick-ons that you can never clean around easily.

I was told there are only 3 UK GP Edition cars.

The main question to ask is, "do I want to pay a little more, & wait goodness knows how long, for a nice MY12 to come up?".  I didn't want anything other than red, black or BRG, & my girlfiend loved the stripes, so I went for it.

Murray Lotus are my local dealer and quite close.  They won't sell a car if it's not up to scratch so you should be fine with it.   If you want I can go and take a look at it, but if you're really serious about it snap it up quick before someone else does.

This car is a cracker. I know some of the history of her. her previous owner never had enough time to drive her, hence her sale. MMC are selling on behalf of the owner. If interested, give them a call and ask for Ian. I was looking at her last weekend and at that point she was supposed to have been sold after only being in for two days. It was discussed to change the mirrors from Red to Black as it would look better. MMC are good to deal with.

I can certainly vouch for MMC, I bought my Evora off them (2010 NA) and it has been a little cracker. Do it! You know it makes sense @RudeDog
