I have ridden past it many times on cycle club rides and on my motorcycles.

I will finally actually park up and take a proper look close up.

I have heard good things about B&C so was more than happy to have them take my money.

I'm not far from B&C but have a mad week this week, otherwise I'd meet up and you could hear a 2011 Evora S (with 3rd cat removed) for comparison.

We have an owners meeting every third Sunday of the month at Newlands Corner near Guildford and about 10 mins from B&C.  It's been on hold during Covid but will re-start in June.  Always a good mix of cars and owners plus lovely bacon rolls from the cafe.  Info will be posted in the regional (SLEGS) forum: https://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/forum/437-topics/

Why not the Evora?  Emira will be closer to the Evora than the Exige.

Don't think B&C have much of a stock of Evora's - their web site indicated none when I looked a couple of days ago.

Corrret. I saw one Elise, 2 Evoras (1 sold and 1 I dont know) and about 9 Exiges.

There were a lot of sold cars. Which is great in one respect.

Prices might well hold for a while.

Perhaps I ought to sell him my car for more than I paid for it.... Been in touch with Jamie about a part for the car and seeing him and the Emira at FOS.

Especially part exchange against a new Emira.

They need to sell a LOT of them.

 If you can hold the car 10 years; Lotus is historically a great value.  Look at how much a 2012 Evora sells for compared to what it cost new.  Not many sports car in that price range are like that.

Isn't the V6 going to be supercharged? I'd love it if it's NA but will be pretty surprised. 

PS - surely the sensible thing to do is cancel one of those deposits and buy a 410 exige now? Easy man maths, you're basically covering yourself off for if (or more like when) the Emira is nothing like an exige and prices harden further. I still get occasional regrets over selling my old V6 S.

I have thought about getting an Exige now, as the track day and occasional mad road weapon as the experience is both intense and overwhelming. Well, it was for me. One would get used to it. I felt more comfo doing crazy speeds on my motorcycles!

I will see how the car looks inside and out at Goodwood first.

Well, I have deposits on each and I have a plan for each BUT the biggest likely hood is that I keep the V6 through to purchase and look  at others for the track weapon.

@Evotion Maybe someone near you on this forum has an Evora 400 they can give you a drive in?  It'll bridge the gap to get a better picture of what the Emira should be like.  You tried one end of the scale, now the other the other.  I don't think it'll be necessary to drive it, just be in it for spin.
