Evora GTS at Silverstone

Anyone know more details of a GTS spec?

The silverstone car is road legal and the others I assume are just race spec.  But wondering what else make the car different other than the roll cage and the seats.

I’m pretty sure that I’ve seen that particular car on the forum before. Maybe in the Evora pictures thread or maybe in Introductions somewhere.

Yes it was definitely owned (briefly?) by someone on here. I think it was still LHD at the time and they bought it as a track day toy. I also remember it being for sale a few years ago.

Yep my old car. I’d say that’s a good price as it’s a proper Lotus motorsport built car and the fella that converted it wouldn’t have cut corners on the RHD conversion.

reading between the line I recon that was an error and it was meant to read RHD Converted.  I can only assume. 

75kilo lighter than the standard Evora S. Almost makes up for the weight I would add to it.

It seems a good price until you realise that it's only the 350 hp engine and no interior comforts. As a road car its not a lot of good to anyone. As a track car it really needs a little more fire breathed into it. The cost of finishing it in either way makes it not such a bargain imo.  Good looking car and body kit though.

It was seen fairly recently (March) at Steve Williams if that's really the only one in the UK. If it's been looked after there then it's been well serviced.

Add 10k for the Ohlins TTX and the Komotec 460 kit and it would be a pretty spectacular proposition - about the price of a used 211 these days but far more practical to drive to track days etc.

Even cheaper then.....!  The only downside I guess is that it does not have the chargecooled S/C, but hardly an issue in the UK I suspect.

I've never been a fan of Green. But this colour is nice. Is this the same colour as yours Bibs but without the yellow strips.
