Slammed Delorean!

I like to stop at Lakenheath to nerd out a bit on the way home from Norfolk on occasion and spotted this in the viewing area!

I will admit to being a person that does not understand 'slamming' a car either.

Not sure what it is meant to show. 😕

I own one - and drive it like it was intended! But that slamming is preposterous 🙈

Excuse my ignorance, but what is slamming? Is it like dogging? ie watching cars and having a five knuckle shuffle?

Dropping the ride height so low that the wheels live somewhere deep in the arches - also usually comes with horrific camber.

It may well have air or other adjustment so that it's only slammed when the engine is off, returning to "normal" when moving.

I presume that as well, but why do lots of people want their cars to be like the air ride Citroens?

@ramjet Isn't it a bit like why some guys always go for blondes, or brunettes, or red heads. Or big tits, or big bums, or nice ankles or whatever. They just like what they like.

Personally, don't see anything wrong with it. Would I want a DeLorean "slammed" like that? No (I'd happily take a DeLorean  ). But, to each their own and celebrate the diversity rather than hate it. Without it, every car would be the same colour. The same design. Etc...

Well from a few metres that might be true - but you’d be amazed at how different they can be after 40 years and a production line that sent them all out with their own quirks in the first place!
