There were a few cars prior to MY85 that came out of the factory with colour coded bumpers and mirrors - if the buyer requested it.

Brooke this was the one I was looking at before buying yours I have some pics somewhere. Restored by B&C. Knowing Jamie is on here he offered at a great price but I just couldn't decide If I liked the colour.

It was definitely the one at Brands surprised it wasn't sold to be honest.

Oh dear, each to their own though,  not to my taste though,  its a lotuslamboferrari and bits of other esigns also !   The fake carbon roughly cut engine start is just terrible.  That is a hell of a lot of money for something that now just looks like a kit car,  Sadly looks like a lot of time, effort and money has been spent on this thing. :(

I like some of the ideas, like the headlights. But the total package is a sorry attempt to combine several different cars, and does away with the classic Esprit design we all love. :-(

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

That car is the perfect reason why we need to get the fluke out of Europe now, for ever. Euro50k for that pile of pooh. It looks like it was styled in Brussels by bureaucrats, made in Strasbourg by bureaucrats...   I will not be able to sleep at night after seeing that, please don;t tell me the owner is called Freddie! "A nightmare on Euro Street" - the sequel....

Always lhd, always red ? that airbag wheel is intolerable. Would still love to find a low mileage (or exceptional higher mileage) SE but where are all the rhd ones.

Well, it was generally observed some time ago that it's in the air that the Esprit's price backlog versus classic Ferrarri's, Porsche's etc  gradually would be deminished..........

........Times of undervaluation seems to be a passed station, particularly for the wider geographically accepted LHD ones.........

The UK will follow with improved valuations for RHD ones with limited geographical coverage.........

It is a matter of fact that the LHD potential buyer's market (even excepted the USA) is 5x bigger as the  RHD UK market ........
