You don't often see one of these in your rear view mirror. Popped into Exeter this afternoon and found I was being followed by this - ex Tony Pond Metro 6r4. Let them past and then chased them down to find out a bit more about it. Made my afternoon! Obviously not my photo, was too busy chasing it :driving:..

Sounded wonderful.

Good question, there is a lot to do but at least I have started now, I may be being optimistic but hopefully I would hope it would be on the road by mid summer. Not expecting it to be MSA compliant at that point though, just loud and quick:getmecoat:. May have also have had time to grow the Tony Pond tache (adds at least 10mph when going sideways).

Here we go again, the Lotus syndrum, Have money, must spend. Quandry, resto project or blow the lot on a good four pot before SWMBO discovers exactly how much was squirreled away. Or find a resto, keep some dosh to spend on the Mrs, gain Brownie points and still have some stashed for the project.

Couldn't agree more. Just bought another car and wifey is pissed I never told her or asked "permission" first. FFS, I'm 50 not 5 so don't need to ask permission to spend my own pocket money!

Never mind. She flies down to Windsor tomorrow for a long qeekend "girls" break so nothing stopping driving for smiles when I pick her ( the car that is ) up on Saturday morning. Just when I thought life couldnae get better......
