That can be done and not too invasive / hard, for instance wider "kissing gates" to facilitate wheel chair access would work well. It's 2020 so inclusivity especially for people who are already struggling with their needs should be encouraged.

Don't, our new place has a wetroom downstairs with one of them Japanese squirty squirty up the bum toilets. Best room in the house when we moved in but the cost is legendary in our cul de sac - £5K just for the frigging bog apparently. The builders drilled the grab handles in the grout lines. 4 screw holes and I have to replace 7 60x30 tiles .

Just a quick update. Betsy had her hair cut today and she ended up with over £12000 in sponsorship, which is enough to make 2 wigs for children with cancer. Can I just say a very big thank you to all who sponsored her.

A Day in the Diary of a Audi Driver.
"The other day I was cruising along as usual coming onto one of my motorways, which was very busy with inferior cars. First off, I couldn't believe that the volume of traffic DIDN'T slow down for me AT ALL as I came off the slip road! I had to squeeze into a barely big enough gap between two cars in order to get onto my motorway! The driver of the car behind me did realise his mistake though and honked an apology to me with a long blast of his horn. Unbelievably, I had to do the same again before I could get to the Audi lane. Anyway, once I was in the Audi lane and posing along at 110 mph enjoying the adulation that the inferior car drivers were giving me, I noticed an inferior car ahead of me which was not only in the Audi lane of my motorway, but was driving at a ridiculous 70 mph! Naturally, I got within a foot or so of his rear bumper and flashed my headlights to remind him he shouldn't be in the Audi lane of my motorway and to get out of my way. Of course, once he realised it was a Audi behind him, he did just that, but I could hardly believe it when he pulled straight back out behind me! He also tried to keep up with me and when he realised I would out-run him, he put on some blue lights in his front grill and urged me to get onto the hard shoulder so that he could congratulate me on my excellent car. Needless to say, I was eager to oblige and when we had stopped, the man gave me a piece of paper confirming what I already knew - that my car goes fast! Apparently he wants everyone to know what a superior car I have, so I had to take my driver’s licence to a police station to be sent away to have some points put on! (They're not free points either - they're £20 each and I was only allowed 3.) But the man at the police station said that because I drive an Audi it won't be much longer before I earn the full 12 points, and then I won't even NEED a driving licence, so they will take it off me! See, now THAT'S the sort of respect you get when you own and drive an Audi."

This should be on the unhappy thread but I am on the @Sparky drinking course so can’t be arsed. Does anyone else notice that everyone is driving at 25mph at the moment.

Presumably there are different courses in ascending levels to suit all abilities?

I have noticed this drinking course doesn’t have many rules. I have been on it since March, it goes something like this 

1. send text, “are we drinking today”

2. “ yes” 

3. “What time”

4.  “I am on my third” 

one of the best courses I have ever been on and so far it’s free

In the last 2 days I have worked on a TE, an S4, a TVR Tuscan, a TVR Griffith 500 and a DeLorean.  Shedloads of fun. 😁

Tuscan had a cooling issue - maybe resolved and being test-driven for a few days.

Griffith needed exhaust work - done but other stuff found so will return maybe next week.

TE - C service.

S4 - minor exhaust leak, oil change.

DeLorean cold start issue - think I've sussed it and awaiting parts.

Amazing what you can do when properly incentivised...

My daughter decided to apply for redundancy at BA due in large to their increasingly poor behaviour to staff. Today she got confirmation that she has been accepted into the Police Force, a role she actively pursued and I'm really pleased she'll be swapping her blue uniform for a black one and her tray for a taser!

Been out for a meal tonight with the missus - 19 years anniversary - get home to find Danny has managed to find an Indian Uber eats that delivers out to us in the sticks from worcester (12miles away!) for him and his girlfriend. Missus wasn’t impressed - we had plenty in apparently.

Got myself a new daily driver.

I've done a lot of stupid stuff for laughs but this takes the cake. The odometer reads 479 000km. 

It has no rust to speak of. 

The only possible explanation is sorcery or black magic. 

(Had a new crate engine installed at 279 000 km or so, but still on the original gearbox.)
