Via 'Longformacus'... what a name! I see from Google Maps!

Enjoy the space and freedom :>)

... or 'Godforsakeus' - as some of the cheekier locals call it!  :)

Had the S for a week now - and absolutely love it!

It's a 2011 model with 15k miles.

I had early thoughts about customising the car with black-packs, black wheels, black lettering, red calipers, etc. but I'm starting to think that it looks really classy the way it is, so I might well leave it alone.

It needs a louder voice though, so a 2bular full system is on it's way!

Almost the exact twin of my 2011 S - and I thought mine was low mileage with 21,000!  Interesting that yours has silver door handles rather than the standard body-coloured ones.  I think silver was the standard on the launch cars but was then phased out.  Roads look fantastic.  Here's mine in another natural Lotus habitat:

Looks good Tom!  But then I would say that!  😉

I seem to recall reading somewhere that body coloured door handles were a £400-ish option on the early S.  😮

I'm pretty happy with the spec of my car.  An Alpine ILX-700 and reverse-camera arrived today, and I'll get that fitted once the double-DIN supports arrive from Lotus - the only other thing that I *might* do is get the cloth covered lower panels re-trimmed to match the uppers.  I've been quoted £1200 (which seems quite reasonable).

A friend just posted this up as a 'memory' on Facebook.

It's from 2 years ago at the Royal Deeside Speed Festival - I didn't see it when she originally posted it and it's the first time I've really heard what my P&J sounds like from the outside, exhaling through its 2bular with the valve open.

Crank the volume up to 11! :driving:

I liked the look of the GTs front so much, but I can’t possibly afford one, so I did the best I could to ape the look and rid myself of the ugly plastic number plate mount, partially hiding my rusting grill too!

I like it, so please don’t tell me I’ve seriously impeded the airflow to the radiator :)

Suggestion... Get a 'Personalised' plate like 'C8 RKH' has. Then get it cut down by 'Fancy Plates'... fit that for the look and get much better airflow...

Mine is 100% legal too as is @stephenwhyte's.

You could also Dremel out the letters at the front to allow more air in!!!
