Who said a Lotus is not practical. i mean, Esprit's can carry ski's, but Evora's and Elise's can carry bikes!

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Nice bridge. :thumbup:

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

Glencoe Andrew? Was thinking about heading there this week (if that's where your photo is) Oh the luxury of two weeks off with nothing better to do. Scotland is winning this thread. :thumbsup:

BEWARE! - Advance warning - I'm heading to Mallaig and back tomorrow so keep all your fluffy little kittens away from the roads. If I can stop driving long enough, I might even manage to fire off a pic or 2 en route,  :P .

@PaulCP

These pics have got my memory bank working overtime.

A few years back (in the twilight period of my many Alfa ownerships), we spent a week zig-zagging along the Alps in a 159, starting at the Col de Turini and ending up at the Grossglockner. You've now got me itching to do it all again in the Evora, :thumbsup: .

Same bit of the Maloja from a slightly different angle.............

Truly, utterly epic, I love it up there. When you mentioned it yesterday David I thought you meant you were heading up in the lorry, I would've taken a run up with you!

Note to self: Make intentions clearer next time. Sorry, Colin. :blush:

A 2 Evora mini-convoy would have stopped traffic, judging by the reactions my solo appearance created. Even the cop in the layby at the southern end of Glencoe lowered the speed gun from in front of his eyes so he could watch me drive past, :thumbsup:  - just as well he wasn't a couple of miles further back, :whistle:.

I'm guessing without ever having done it that is the Kylesku bridge up the NW coast when doing the North Coast 500?  The front cover shot from Evo a couple of months back.  One of these days when life provides more time.

Yes - that is the Kylesku bridge, as used for the ECOTY shot this year

i have a photo of me as a youngling just after it opened sitting in the lower curve of one of the legs. I couldn't climb it so had to be lifted up.
