Well it is quite precisely in the middle between two white lines that indicate the boundaries of parking spaces, did anybody state it had to be adjacent white lines?

Should be PA.  Tannoy is a brand name and used by old farts  and usually British.  Just like Hoover is used for every make and style of vacuum floor cleaner upright or otherwise.

 

Working offshore which is obviously international and more like the UN for nationalities we are trying to purge all our manuals and documents of 'Tannoy' presently as we still have it cropping up in procedures or whatever depending on who wrote it.

The other example is that every ball point pen in the U.K. is called a Biro.

 

There are a few of the 80s Rollers around. I was offered one in Part Exchange and 12 000 pounds for my 1947 MG TC. Just could not see myself in a Roller. The TC was not me either.

There's a gap in our local supermarket that seems to be for people to walk through but is big enough for a car, I can confirm!

you have to be fair .. 'big boys' (and realistically also girls )  with big toys need more room than the old (antique) DIN-measurement for parking allows .. .

 

If you put the car with photoshop onto the right place, and calculate the door opening angle, and one of those fat blokes who  fit into such cars ..it just does not work for him to get out of the car

The Parking spaces in this Garage might not be the biggest ones but a LOT of SUV Drivers in that prove that they fit into.......nix Photoshop needed........but I agree on your Argument on Personal Body specification that m a y b e might cause a problem........
