I’m guessing it is French? Should have got it from the curtains on the first picture. I’ve no idea of what type though!

It is French - I guess no-one will get it, so I'll put you out of your misery. It's one of the 8 Hurel-Dubois HD34.

I remember when the Edgley Optica was launched. It had loads of publicity and was supposed to clean up globally as a replacement for Police, Border Control, Drug Enforcement helicopters etc., due to its ease of operation, low running costs and long patrol duration. It also had plenty of airtime on the BBC when the Farnborough show was on as per the image above, presented by the likes of Raymond Baxter and William Woollard.

I remember that years airshow. The ground crew of the Antonov 124 were particularly interested in swapping Vodka for 200 Marlboro cigarettes!  🤪 burp, hic!

A bit like a hang- glider or paragliding I imagine. Great till it all goes wrong.
