Or buried in a deep hole in that coffin of a car!

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Never liked the model, and the scheme is dire, but the finish is intriguing. That kind of mottled metal look, how is that achieved?

Curses, foiled again

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

I owned one for a while and it was like a tank to drive and really heavy, reminded me of driving my dads old XJ6, leaked oil as well with low mileage.

The V8 vantage however was a much more rewarding experience and the way to go if entering AM for the first time.

Dave :)

Wandering round Cannes harbour last night, admiring the mega yachts moored up. Parked up on the quayside, at the rear of the biggest/blingiest boat, were two Bentley Bentayga. Wrapped in gold chrome (if there is such a thing).

I still haven't figured out what the owners of such monstrosities think they are saying about themselves. I could have asked, but the three rather large security guys didn't look too friendly.....

Hi all, here's a video now that my car is back on the road! Hopefully demonstrating that the cars are not a total killer to repair and that there are plenty of good sympathetic mechanics out there :)

Oh please subscribe so I can go live at the The Lotus Festival!! :)

Damn reasonable that.... should have got yours hands grubby and pulled the box out yourself.... mine spanked me a princely £650 for a rebuild, £30 for oil and about an evenings work taking out and refitting.

these simply aren't expensive super cars :animier:

I'm holding back with asking about repair bills for the German leech next to the lovely red car

Someone emailed me a pic of my car when it was new.  Here it is in Scotland 30 years ago :)

That looks an awful lot like the Churchill Naval estate I lived on in Helensburgh when I was a nipper. Kent Drive in fact although looking it's not identical, but very close!
