Cheers for posting Richard,    Looks like a Mustang fighter plane at 2.01 ?   Lotus should use this to their advantage to get Tom Cruise down for a look about as he flies one for a hobby,  Could maybe get him to use some lotus eye candy in one of his films :)

Fantastic picture at 2.23 of the great Mr Chapman with a smile on his face like a chesure cat !   No helmet,  great pic, have never seen this one before , cheers for posting

I was unaware of the RAF airfield connection. Don’t think it’s a Mustang Dan, looks more like a P-47 Thunderbolt. With this in mind, anyone ready for some bomber nose art on a classic Esprit? 🙂

Still cant see why Ford do not do a short little run of this with lotus on one of todays models, would be nice to see another lotus worked car, drama on the engine as lotus do not make their own anymoe, but cant see why they could not work a ford motor and suspension :)

I loved that Alan Mann colour scheme on Cortinas and Escorts back in the day. The BMW Mini still uses the Cooper moniker to denote 'sporty', despite the actual Cooper company being long gone, so Ford using the Lotus name would surely still work for them I'd have thought???

Apologies if already posted, a beautifully shot film about one man’s love of his lotus elan+2.  Put closed captions on for english subtitles.

Lots of shots of a beautiful Lotus driving through french countryside and Paris at night:

Just enjoyed watching these.

Building a retromod Mk1 Escort from the ground up for Gordon Murray. No pressure then!

Multiple references throughout the episodes to Colin Chapman and Lotus.

Anyone got a spare S1 Esprit and some money??

Cheers for posting Punky,  the ford cosworth twin cam with dry sump intergrated pump and 300bhp to boot, sounds awesome,, never new about the ford twin cam been used in the first mx5,  you learn something new everyday.  Workshop looks well planned out and clean also :)  Very lucky new owner when that car is complete

The Lotus community have always had a love/hate relationship with Claudius. Certainly back in the day there was a demand for his conversion products as many wanted to update the early cars to S2 or Turbo look. That era has clearly passed, got to respect the quality of his fabricating ability, though. But, that badge? Why, Claudius, why? 🙄
