They are simply special John - it's not the sort of car you see every day, week, month - hell year !!! On the road in the wild I have seen only a handful over the last 20 years - and every time I see one its special!!

Being black you could probably do a lot worse then putting it to a professional detailer for a proper paint correction treatment. Mine will be going to one - yellow one first probably in the next couple of weeks and the red one when it's back on the road. Most of them aren't cheap but the results say it all as far as I'm concerned.

Agree I will prob get a mop for mbw next week but I will start asking for recommendations on getting the v8 detailed, the turbo i wouldn't detail until I did a bit of body work but that's a little way off yet so just going to enjoy the car for a bit first.

The Esprit managed a Silver award at this years Lakewood Yacht Club Concours d'Elegance last weekend.  Not too shabby as it was up against recently restored, trailered, garage queens of various British marques.  Our Esprit has 35K and is definitely a driver that goes out every week and is unrestored.

thanks Jonny, car is gorgeous really pleased, I was planning on taking the v8 as that was a car I was more confident of being available.  Now I'm not sure??
