KLOGs - Run to Dungeness - Sunday 4th September

Maidstone and the surrounding areas guys marshal at the Roadchef M20 Maidstone services, Junction 8, in McDonald's car park @ 10.00 - 10.30. Depart at 10.30.

Down the M20 to Eureka Business Park, Rutherford Road, Ashford, Junction 9. Meet up at Dobbies car park - the one the left as you come off the roundabout into Rutherford Road, for 11.00.

Leave Eureka at 11.30, drive down to Dungeness, for 12.30, fish and chips at The Pilot pub, then make you way home when you want. Or you can simply make your own way to the boozer, it's up to you.

Be my guest, however we won't be there, as lounging around on a boat on the Gulf coast is preferable to having fish and chips at the Pilot in good old Blighty!

So, Shan and I are going  to do the run anyway, and if anyone does come along, then they'll be very welcome to join us, the more the merrier.

However just seen m 20 closed both ways arround the half knocked down bridge all this weekend for those traveling from the west.

Yes, I've just seen the reports of the closure. Nice eh? Everyone coming back off holidays in time for the new school term, and they choose yet another busiest weekend to do it. Astonishing.

I know they say its safe but I would be happier not going under it too often!!!!
