Very excited to join this very exclusive club today.  Many thanks to Ali for looking after the car so carefully for the last two years.  I took the long way home and am looking forward to many more miles with this amazing machine.

There was some talk a while ago about organising a GT430 owners event somewhere in the UK this year.  I'll be going to Lotus in the Peak if that works for other people.  A great weekend of driving and socialising in beautiful scenery.

It will be interesting to see how you find the suspension etc when compared to other Evora's and an Emira if you get one.

Suspect the visibility is better on yours, as mine has the carbon fibre rear side windows that making turning/junctions more difficult.

I did back to back test drives in December of Evora S, GT410 Sport, GT430 and Emira Touring and Sports.

As a result of that I postponed my Emira deposit to wait for Base Edition info to be published or the rumoured GT.  And started a hunt for a GT430 which got me to today. It’s an amazing car, I’ll write up some thoughts and comparisons after a few more miles.

If anyone else is looking for a GT430, I know about one for sale in the UK and one in Italy.

Yes.  It was a special commission by Scott Walker and a premium paint. Majority of them were built to customer order, apart from the factory cars used for the launch.

Some have been mentioned in Facebook groups rather than PH or AT.  I posted in a couple of places that I was looking for one and was approached by a few people.  Dealers know of a couple potentially available if there’s interest.

Congratulations Tom. Stunning car in one of the best colours, would be a hard choice to pick between Liquid Yellow and Jimmy’s Burnt Orange. Looks like Scott Walker knows how to choose a colour for a 430 after commissioning both yours and Jimmy’s cars. 😍👍

Where have you ended up with the gearbox woes on your Evora S? Or have I got my Tom’s mixed up?!

Lovely, managed to get it onto Denbies! Some great roads nearby, as I am sure you know. I am out of my GT430 but still miss it, wonderful machine. Enjoy.

Yes that's me.  I'm still tracking down a new gearbox or internal parts.  I need to do some more phoning round now I'm back from a month of business travel (and not just go out driving the GT430 all weekend!).

Thanks,  I cancelled my Emira (due in April) in favour of the GT430, I couldn’t resist…it’s my third Evora.
