Indeed it is Dan’s old car, the one Alex re sprayed part of the bumper while Dan and I waited, I think that was when Dan was still at Burnt House farm....that was a long time ago!

By the sounds of the responses on here alone its going to be mental busy. Hopefully someone at the Factory will remember the, err "difficulties" with access 10 years ago when someone thought it adequate for 1000s of cars all arriving within a 2 hour window to enter the site by turning 90 degrees through a 3m wide hole in the fence!

Could you ask them to consider letting everyone use the main gates this time, or just go onto the track straight off the main road by the Engineering Centre?? Its been a while and I'm sure the site has changed a fair bit, but standing queues on the A11 shouldnt happen again

Totally agree. PLEASE make sure this happens. My poor old Elan S4 seriously overheated that day, but I doubt if the Evora will this time. Just don't want to queue forever to get in.

I could help Friday afternoon to prepare (depending on flight times in to Norwich) and would be happy to help out on the day as I won't have my car with me. Just need to get somewhere to stay and transport to the event (local taxi's do operate i guess in the wilds of Norfolk?)

Last time mate we convoyed there after all meeting up at Dunston Hall first thing. Think it wound up circa 16:00, though many of us went back to Dunston and had a few drinkies......again.....

Fantastic news Bibs and great that Lotus are stepping up to the plate big time. I'll be there and the best bit is a mate of mine now lives half an hour up the road so that's my accommodation sorted. If this is a reflection of Geely's commitment going forward, then the future does indeed look bright.

Brings back happy memories of the 60th Anniversary celebration at Hethel (still got the official brolly), when Bibs asked me to park up at the LEF stand and I ended up winning Car of the Show, as chosen by MJK and Martin Donelly. I was well chuffed. She's seen some miles since then so I doubt she'd feature again! We even had a call out on Chris Evans Radio 2 drive time show coming down the A1 on the Friday afternoon, who complemented us on our choice of wheels.....
