£59k for a GT410 Sport. What’s the catch? £14k cheaper than the next cheapest but 19k miles - does that mean buying and driving a low miler would cost £1k in depreciation for every 1000 miles?

That’s my favourite colour 🤔

Yep. Some 400s on for that same price. I think someone will get an amazing deal. Just wondering if that person should be me! 😊

Yeh that’s not going to be a popular colour. Thing is perhaps this is more realistically priced as the more expensive ones have been hanging around for months! I’ve been waiting for them to drop but not budging.

I’m on the fence with that colour .. I’ve seen it in person on an Elise and it looks fantastic and not so turquoise as it looks on the above. If it weren’t for the dealer being so far away (and the trade value of my “high mileage” 400 being so low) I’d go and have a proper look!

Yeah I am in the market for an Evora at the moment, but I’m wanting it for more of a daily driver and GT so I quite want the arm rest and sound deadening. But that one at that price is quite tempting!

Unfortunately I’m stuck outside the country for the foreseeable future so the search has been put on hold for a while!

Wow that looks quite appealing. I get confused with the naming though, is the GT410 Sport the “hardcore” Evora with less sound deadening and no arm rest?

No.

Evora Sport 410 was the model the GT410 was based on and has the lighter weight, more carbon, less deadening and the carbon sports seats.

The GT410 took this base and added the new nose, sound deadening and rear bumper and slightly less carbon but is very much a GT sports car.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

That's not high miles really. What were your trade in prices??

Yeah not high miles really but so many Evoras of similar vintage seem to have not been driven very much.
I was talking to a few dealers about newer Evoras and exiges as I fancied an upgrade and they’d have only been able to give me early 40’s at best for my car. One dealer (not a lotus specialist to be fair) offered me 38!

only a few grand cheaper than this one with half the miles... colour is perhaps not to everyone’s taste!

£4K saving is worth having for difference in miles , if car meets your needs.

Maybe they looked the wrong car up on their glasses guide?!!

That's lovely but I can't believe the airbag cover is lifting on it already (and that it's not been fixed under warranty or as part of prep). Lotus have been making these cars for 11 years now without fixing that problem!

They'd better do a better job with the Type 131.

I could be tempted back into an Evora with a GT410 at £60k.  Makes the 2016 400’s look expensive from dealers.  Just need more garage space now ;)

Ask them to fix the passenger side airbag - it looks like it has popped up. Don't take the 'they are all like that...' BS....they would have fitted flat from new but do pop up if not protected from strong sunshine (most likely reason but not 100% sure why some pop).

I’ve gone for the evora at Aston Sevenoaks :)

was too mice to miss - the colour and spec etc just what I was looking for!

Thanks for removing the temptation. At least now I don’t have to advertise my S1 Sport Racer. 🙄👍
