Thanks to all for the comments - the car in question is mine, so if anyone knows anybody looking for a very well sorted LE, please put them in touch.   It was the only one produced in the colour/interior/wheels combo so it’s unique I guess.

@C8RKH - I apologise for the comment in my ad re the Sports Ratio gearboxes.   I’ll remove it (if I can) as I certainly don’t want the advert to be anything but factual and it sounds like you know the real story with those.

@Cdm2018 - I’m actually north of Hinckley.

If anyone wants to know anything about the car, feel free to ask.   I have a genuine, very unfortunate reason for sale and the car is a cracker 👍🏻

No worries, it was just an observation. As I said, that is a lovely car and spec and well sorted. Good luck with the sale.

i was obsultely intent on finding a launch edition when i was looking and after missing out on one early days in the search snapped Barry's ex car so looking at daves le, again if i was looking i would of snapped that one as obviously youll do well even to equal it, good luck with the sale and im sure it will be hard to part with her 😒

Thanks, well it didn't take long - I accepted a deposit for it last night.  The new owner will be getting a great car.  Thanks for all the positive comments everyone 👍

great car. Where did the new owner see it advertised, here or Facebook? As you’re aware I might consider selling mine for personal reasons too.

That is a fantastic looking car Dave. Having read your thread, I imagine it will be difficult to let it go after all of that work and your personal time investment. I'm not generally blown away by silver cars or oyster trim but I was doing the man-maths myself as well. My wife will likely be pleased that it has sold!

Thanks everyone.  New owner saw it on here I believe.   

Although the Evora replacement won't be a Lotus, at least I will still have my Elise S1.   Apologies for the gratuitous pics in the wrong forum but it needs a bit of love.   I haven't driven it since August as I need to change the fuel pump..... maybe if everyone replies saying "wow, that's stunning" then it will miraculously change itself 👍

Yes, all my Lotuses have always been this shiny - I have a reputation to preserve 😜

Long term lurker here.  Just like Dave (given that I'm a David too) I've had nine Lotuses . . . and this will make my fifth Evora.  Not sure if that's a record quite yet.  Also my oldest Evora . . . but I'm odd since I preferred NA and in particular NA IPS to my 400!

I'm without a regular car (other than a Defender) for a while, and waiting for an Emira, and decided to jump into an Evora one last time while I wait.  (My Emira deposit was beginning of June 2021, so hopefully that makes me early-ish in the list.)

This means that Dave's Evora is likely with me for only six months . . . so keep in touch if anyone wants it when either the Emira or a 718 Spyder (sorry, I'm broad in preferences) arrives.  If not, then you'll doubtless see Silverstone's Aimee or Matt retailing it for me when I've taken Emira delivery!

(I was holding out for an IPS, but just got swayed by having already seen Dave's thread on his awesome work.)

@Daveb99 Congrats on such a quick sale, I've not been on here for a while but had a read through your thread on how you got to getting your Evora look so good, needless to say, I'm very impressed by your handiwork and attention to detail, you've definitely given me some inspiration on what I should be working on/playing with on my Evora if I get some downtime over the winter. Out of interest, where were you able to source your alloys? 

@dpm Congrats on the new car, from reading the above mentioned thread and seeing the pics, sounds like you've got a great car on you hands, hope you enjoy it.

Well if anyone is looking there is an absolutely first class 1 owner Hethel Edition at Hofmanns who supplied the car and serviced it from new.

May be a problem with the way AT auto fills some data eg some IPS cars come up as manuals, Hendy also had an add that says 430hp, but is not a 430...

They guy at Hendy says that they put cars up using sort of product code and AT comes up with a spec that may not actually relate to the car. EG non sport models coming up with c/f fitted when it is not.

Handy Exeter have a new one just a tad  over £90k But the Hendy one is a GT410 non sport, have to wait and see the pics of the one you refer to - it may be a GT410 Sport, so would probably explain that it is more expensive.

Seems cheap to me, Sport410 was the first more track-focused Evora, with tons of carbon. You had to option in AC, in-car entertainment, Sparco seats, sound deadening. Less than 30 made?

Black with red stitching, sounds yummy and has AC and stereo. One owner too.
