  1. it's The Scum. Par for the course with them.
  2. They were on back order unfortunately! 😜 Having a few days holiday in the Grampians (stunning, warm clear blue sky today) but made sure I got back to watch it at the hotel. You coukd see Mike was chuffed with the result. Very nice thing to do @Kimbers.
  3. £86-90k and it will sell tomorrow hopefully to someone who will use the damn thing.
  4. I just personally think it's pathetic.
  5. That, is a very neat solution and job @Bravo73.
  6. Apologies @rs200evo, the original owner must have them changed them very quickly, but not sure why anyone would have ordered, from new, with carbon seats and plus 2 as almost impossible, if not totally impossible, to get someone in the back, or out of the back due to the seats not tilting. The carbon seats are wonderful, I have them in my car, but they do impact on the GT nature of the car re getting stuff behind them.
  7. I know I'm thick, you don't have to tell me, but can someone explain this to me (see BBC news words below). Migrants are flocking into the EU, then deciding to cross the channel to the UK. Due to EU and Human Rights laws we cannot send them back to France, which is a "safe country". So, how can Ireland then decide to send the ones that go there, from the UK, back to the UK, which there own highest court had decided was not a "safe country" due to the possibility of the returnees being sent to Africa? If the Irish can, legally, then why can't we just put the ones that arrived here, on small boats and hidden in lorries etc, on the Ferry back to France? Why are we having to give the French £500m to try to stop them, when the Irish expect us to stop them for them, for nothing? I'm just confused. Are we just a small island nation that everyone is free to tell us how to do stuff and bully us into doing it? When is International Law and Human Rights a check box that applies to some, but not all? Oh and by the way, as of an hour ago the Irish cannot provide any hard evidence or statistics to back up their claims re an 80% increase, officially saying it is a "gut instinct". WTF? A plan to draft new Irish legislation which would redesignate the UK as a "safe country" to which asylum seekers can be returned has been approved. Irish government ministers collectively approved the plan brought to Cabinet by Justice Minister Helen McEntee. Last week she claimed more than 80% of recent asylum claims were from people who arrived in the state by crossing the border with Northern Ireland. But the British government has said it will decide who it accepts into the UK. The Irish government has recently expressed concern that the UK's plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda is encouraging more refugees to come to the Republic of Ireland. Tánaiste (Irish deputy prime minister) Micheál Martin said last week that asylum seekers were seeking "sanctuary here and within the European Union as opposed to the potential of being deported to Rwanda".
  8. Those are the original seats! GT430's could be had with either carbon buckets or the Sparco seats as this one. Given it is a 2+2 you won't want the carbon seats as they don't tilt. The guy who specc'd the car new and was the first loving owner is on here, but maybe not for some time - @Sizona I can imagine in that wonderful spec this particular GT430 is going to be an absolute stunning GT car.
  9. He's special. So needs special wheels.
  10. Is that photoshopped? UK number plate and no one even glancing at it.
  11. C8RKH

    Bye Scotland!

I bought a Lotus instead. Easier to conceal and faster to get away

    Bye Scotland!

    I'd be arrested too quickly.
  13. I'm starting to feel like it's going to end like Logan's run. They had the autonomous vehicles too so no one got a speeding ticket (see, we're still on topic). However, in my version, everyone under 35 would go
  14. Actually @Barrykearley, that looks a million dollars. Reminds me of a Lambo Jalpa
  15. @Mark Blanchard I'd be speaking to the council and making a "nuisance" complaint and seeking a cease and desist order or whatever it is called. However, it does show that Bee's are so much more superior to many humans who seem to be able to nothing but shit all over their home! Also, does he declare his side Hussle earnings for tax purposes?
  16. We are slowly giving up, while sleep walking through life, so many of our hard won freedoms and rights it is alarming. At the same time, the indifference shown to others, and the levels of selfishness and entitlement, are just off the scale. Social Media, influenzas and the pandemic have speeded up the process considerably. The future actually looks quite grim and dare I say it, boring, for the human race, as things stand. No doubt the hype around AI will accelerate further our transformation from active and useful to lazy and useless.
  17. Did what get rectified @Casper2565? The headlights are the same units from the start of production to the end of production for the Evora - the only exception being that the earlier cars had a "lotus" branding in them that was a nice quality touch. Out of interests the headlights are manufactured by the same company that did the DB9 headlights, along with others. The first thing any Evora owner should do is to just check whether the headlights have PPF on them, and if they don't, get it on asap, as it really does make a difference to their longevity. @TrevS, Eltech in Italy have developed replacement front and rear lights for the VX220, they'd be my "go to" to see if they would develop something for the Evora. Possibly GRP too.
  18. Our First Minister becoming our Last Minister. Whoopee.
  19. This is spot on - there is so much entitlement and "fookoffery" amongst people these days it's amazing. I've got a 4x4 and even though I'm young and able I'll park in a disabled spot because I can and my car is too precious and anyway I'm entitled! I don't give a shit if you don't like dogs, my dogs a spikey wee thin g and loves to run around and jump at people, get over it... The shites who do "dine and dash" and then get upset if their picture is posted on social media. It's endless these days. It really does seem that since the pandemic people have forgotten how to behave. We've even got the union, PCS iirc, for the ONS public sector workers whop are going on strike because they've been told to go to the office for 2 days a week, and in the words of the union, "this is unreasonable as many have have had children, moved away, etc as they "thought" - (key phrase that) that the unofficial leniency re not having to work in the office fro9m the pandemic would be permanent! I mean, wtf! I'd let them all strike, on zero pay and benefits, for as long as they wanted. The country isn't going to stop because our national statistics are late, and when they were broke and decided to come back to work I'd be telling them their contract states office based so 5 days i the office or off you go. Bye. It's time we stopped taking this bullshit, and stamped our authoritative feet.
  20. "Aussi Bugger" - many a true word said in jest lol...
  21. If you're in the back with no seat belt you'll likely crush the skull of the person in front of you, in a head on crash, @Escape so yes, you could do a lot of harm by not complying in the back. However, in general, I do agree with you. People should be allowed to make choices, and if by making those choices they get killed or seriously injured then so be it. After all, Darwin was right about a few things. It's like the teenagers and young men who commit scooter and e-bike crimes. Personally, I think Police cars should have "pop up" bull bars on the front and just ram them. If they get injured or die, tough. A radical view no doubt, but they terrorise whole communities so why should we treat them with cotton gloves when they blatantly put themselves, and others, at high risk.
  22. Cyclists are like motorists, you get good ones and bad ones and a few complete and utter tosspots. Such is life. Firstly, if, there is a cycle lane, then the law should INSIST that cyclists use it. No ifs, no buts, no nothing. Secondly, cyclists should be forced to carry some form of ID with them at all times. Makes it easier to process the organs when they've been moronic but also easier to identify them if they break the law. Thirdly, I think it should be mandatory for cyclists to have 3rd party insurance. Yes, yes, yes, cyclists are vulnerable yadda yadda yadda - so all the more reason for them to be more responsible (i.e. stop dressing all in black for the lycra brigade as I can't see them from the tarmac) and use the facilities provided. Motorists are largely easy to trace and prosecute and punish when they transgress, cyclists are all too easy to get away with it through lack of id etc.
