I have identical seats in my exige 410. They are so comfy when in the right position. 10 hours and 450 miles and I was still without aches. Another 👍 here.

Since I lost a lot of the weight, the carbon seats are okay for me, but needed the other brackets from Australia to make them less upright. My wife always found them fine however.

My favourite seats are the standard Sport seats from late Elise and the Exige V6. They have been an Option since the early Toyota times. Had them in the 2-11.

I'm a big fat git and the seats work just fine! They're not just for thinnies lol.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone come across this one in the wild?

(A motorsport green sport 410 manual is probably the only model which might eventually tempt me out of mine...)

I assume an old advert, it says 'sold'.

I'd not seen it advertised when it was for sale, whenever that was. The same dealer appears to have sold it previously in 2019 with 10,000 miles, when I searched on-line.

The ultraviolet Sport 410 manual will be for sale shortly. 18,000 miles.

Psst, that's racing green, not motorsport green and it seems very well priced!

Ahhh thanks, either of those greens are the dream

Going by the MOT history mileage, I'd guess the ad is from early 2021, and it hasn't done much since.  Just curious if it had popped up here as it's pretty much how I would have specced one.

The plan at some point is to either get an Elan+2 with some work needed, or upgrade the S to a Sport 410 with the carbon seats...    The UV Sport 410 is lovely Justin, but I'm not quite in a position yet to be able to make the move - good luck with the sale.

Sadly, yes. I have a few cars too many and two Evora is excessive. The reality is piling miles on the NA is irrelevant now it has 76000+ under its belt. The Sport 410 is a bit wasted for the short journeys, fun and comfortable though it is, I think it deserves to be saved a bit more for weekend blasts, of which it has had plenty, 14000 miles since May 2021. Sport 410 are total bargains, they should be £70K+ cars. I adore it and cannot fault it for drama, sense of occasion, excitement of ownership, value for money (purchase and running costs) and the joy it brings to others. And the legendary Lotus ride, handling, steering. A brilliant machine.

If you are after racing green then there are only x2 of them out of the 30 x 410 Sports in the UK!

@edmundo, I am not sure where you are but there is a fantastic trimmer in Crewe who completely redid my VX220 interior (after previously having my interior done on an Evora NA by Allon White can atest to the quality of both). He is ex Bentley trained trimmer (hence the Crewe base!).

By the way, I have a Sport 410 too, welcome to the most exclusive Evora club!

Thanks all. Re the trim suggestions there's some good options there. Dave The Trimmer I was aware off and his work always looked top drawer, ( remember him from TVR ownership ).

Ideally I want to find somebody closer to home but I'll see. My main fear is that the seat needs to come apart which seems a shame when the area is not that large. I've also heard that the plastic trims around the harness holes have a propensity to break upon removal hence I was hoping to find someone who could do it without stripping the seat..

We shall see but if that's my biggest issue I'll be happy..

Can't wait!

Don't get hung up on minor issues Edmundo. We all have them, if we're being honest.

Just get out there, give it the beans and enjoy the Spring/Summer. These minor jobs can be factored in when the sun swings round and the salt bins come out.

If it is only wear and fading, not split, then get some dye and coulor it in. It will last a while and you can think about whether it needs anything more permanent.

Don't worry it will be driven frequently and enthusiastically..

That said I like things to be right so will work through any niggles as they emerge..

The seat is pretty gnarly where its split. I could live with it whilst focusing on driving but I'll always know its there so will address it ASAP..

Indeed. Not great and will fix it in the near future but otherwise it seemed like the right car for me and obviously pretty rare so had to go for it, ( and allowed for the fix in the price ). Will share more info once I've got the keys..

Cheers

If the seats do not recline or have airbags, is it possible to swap the driver and passenger seat?

The damage will then be on the inside partly covered by the centre tunnel.

Duck tape will cover the worst of it and you’ll neither have to look at it each time you open the door nor explain it to passing admirers.

You could potentially fashion some sort of covering for it (I’m thinking adapting a pair of harness pads) along with a matching one for the drivers side.
