Weather spiced it up quite a bit that helped. Great to see Lewis win, and the interaction with the crowd. Think even Lando and George were almost pleased to see Lewis doing well.

Stunning win for Hamster, showing off his old form!

Leclerc must be wondering what's going on at Ferrari. As for Perez, I reckon James May would be faster round the track. Max staged a bit of a comeback, but he never looked racy until the last knockings. I do think the rain helped us watch a pretty thrilling race, but I did shout at the TV when George had to retire. Such a shame. I also think the pace of the Mercs and Macs bode well for a more exciting remainder of the season.

Nice to see H back on the podium.

It’s only metal, it cannot win!

They are also probably a bit relieved that Lewis can still win.

Max-bashing to one side

No Max bashing in my post.

Great race. Only just seen it on catch up as I was coming home from a week on the IoM.

Great to see Lewis back on the top step, and overall, a great race. Just shows you can have a close, and a clean, race ;)

Max drove a brilliant race, with faultless strategy by the team. Max is making the difference with that car and he was clean on track - he probably feared getting out of Northamptonshire if he did otherwise.

Leclerc is appearing to be overrated or does bad luck follow him around? 2025 will be a pivotal year for him.

Lando was rightly livid. The cheeky chappy mask is slipping, which is good as he needs to toughen the team up. Too many missed opportunities.

Albon had a good weekend as did need Nico H. Sauber seem to have given up pending Audi control.

Lewis is a true champion, both on and off the track. I was quite emotional, a wonderful day.

I'm sure Sir Keir will take the credit.

Liam Lawson will probably replace Dany R for 2025 if not before.  Then Perez.

Honda engines going from Red B, so Yuki under threat though he's done well on merit.

I'm struggling to warm to Russell to be honest.  He talks too much corporate cheese for me.

I agree @Techyd. He's swallowed the Kook-Aid and is puking out all the buzzwords like it was corporate Bingo.

I just can't warm to him myself. Something is not right there. He has an air of arrogance about him that is several layers higher than his actual achievements or performances.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

Norris comes in 2.5 seconds behind Piastri and then pulls out a 6 second lead on him. Why on earth would you ask your leading driver to switch positions when the Team is getting maximum points anyway?. Verstappen must be laughing his tits off.

Would have expected if Ferrari were in the same situation they would make sure it was Lando 1st, Oscar 2nd as they would have identified their lead driver and being in a better position in the championship.

Made the last few laps more entertaining.

Anyway Max back to his old ways.
