well i couldnt really care as long as it doesnt have pebble dash front ,  if after 4 years and only 14k try the PPF warranty

You could say PPF is a bit like flying business class, its a luxury (no) and a total waste of money (yes) but I won’t fly economy if there is an option, The limited benefits totally outweigh the cost in my opinion

@Abgreenbank it is not yellowing etc, it is ripped PPF from stones, and yes it was XPEL and yes it was professionally installed. Not covered by warranty, how often have you heard that lol.....

I'm happy I did it. No regrets. Just don't fool yourself into thinking it will be perfect for 10 years. Also, it needs a bit of a polish too, just like paint....

Not seen that in all my other cars, but don’t worry I’m not expecting it to be perfect in 10 years, and the areas that are double covered will be replaced when needed. The widscreen PPF is a different material and has a much more limited life, and I am fully anticipating replacing  much more frequently.

it’s damage mitigation rather than total prevention, and I hate stone chips, kerbed alloys and dirty alcantara steering wheels!

If that picture tells us one thing, it’s that if you’re ordering an Emira in yellow, you really, really want to be speccing the upper black pack.

I don't normally like black packs, but I agree, it does suit the yellow Emira. Makes it look more like a ragtop (from a distance, if you squint your eyes and haven't been to Specsavers for a while)

I think it's also because yellow and black go together REALLY well. Black packs tend to suit lighter colours best, but yellow probably best of all.

I've ordered non black pack so I have no choice but to disagree! I spent so long staring at the black pack it started to look like it was trying too hard for me and had a ricer effect. I find the non black classy. When I saw that photo previously I was glad I made that choice personally. 

I also decided it was much more sensible to spec the roof in the colour then just wrap it black if I regret it and for a saving. Much rather that than the other way round.

If you did not order the black roof and are desperate, just get it wrapped in black

It is quite possible that if the photo had been taken beside another Emira that was not yellow with the black pack, that the 'look' may well be quite nice.

The angle of the photo may not help either.

What was once a rambling, damp, underdeveloped Victorian pile has been totally transformed into a boutique 5 star hotel, top notch food and expensive art hung in the very upmarket surroundings. Considered now to be one of THE best hotels in Scotland 👍
