Today is a proud day

Well today - Danny has officially entered the fold as a proud Lotus owner.

We saw this today after waiting for some weeks to see her. She’s a lovely wee thing and has been off the road for some time. In the coming weeks she will be serviced, cleaned and returned to use for him to enjoy.

She runs and drives but does obviously need some new tyres and love. I am so chuffed for him

Yes he has already checked that out since I’ve a silver one sat on the drive that I shouldn’t have bought 😂

We have evicted the mice from the boot tonight - and the rubbish out of it.

plans are being considered and he is very excited to get it serviced and ready for mot.

Funninly enough, some of us in LEC refer to that colour as Fellatio 😉

The more refined refer to it as Ribena 🟣

I think I've seen/heard Roman Purple before. I think it was on a 2+2 or Europa featured in Absolute Lotus.

I think if you saw Roman Purpe and Pallacio side by side the Pallacio would be a lighter shade.

Took the seats out last night and hoovered out the significant debris and mouse eggs.

Seats fully cleaned and treated.

tonight was clean all the internal carpets on the car. Battery had been on charge since yesterday and amazingly that charged and started the car. All locks and catches sprayed and freed up.

I have to say - it’s really cleaned up well

Whilst the seats are out, remove the carpets and replace all the absorbent foam underneath and replace with closed cell stuff (EBay) Use carpet spray to glue in place.

Also inspect the jacking points (only 2 on the S2 - 4 on the SE) and outriggers/cills. Best done with a boroscope.
