Slightly disappointed that Kimbers hasn’t put an election poll up.

I think I know the results especially if I add a "I don't give a F*ck, I give up on all politicians" vote

Haha. Quoting Brexit. Lies, damn lies and statistics. From the same source. Eurozone 3.4% growth since pre-pandemic level, UK 1.7%. We are dragging behind.

I was responding to the previous quote, in the timeline of, the previous quote.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

What I want from this general election is:

  • A Government to be elected that truly believes it is their to support the citizens of this country to flourish in a society that is free from hate, crime, and tolerates freedom of expression (to the extent it does not incite hate etc) and freedom of choice (to the extent that that choice does not break the law)

  • A Government that does not see "workers" as a cash cow, to be flogged to death by tax after tax, many of which are only needed to support the workshy and lazy

  • A Government that focuses on education, innovation and the advancement of our industries to ensure that we exploit technology to drive our attainment, and therefore our ability to exist as a healthy, burgeoning, democratic society

  • A Government that will swipe away the inherent waste that is so prevalent in the NHS today. That will demand new standards based on identifiable and verifiable best healthcare practices and standards, and that will remove "ego" based approach from some health service professionals, driving ever improving outcomes for patients, at a lower cost, thereby enabling more interventions and more positive outcomes by "reinvesting" those savings into new, or expanded, services.

  • A government that will clamp down and no longer tolerant people indulging themselves, or justifying their actions, that break common laws and levels of decency. That will put an end to people thinking they are entitled to do something, even though it has a direct impact on, or puts others at risk from, their actions.

  • A Government that adopts a zero tolerance to hate crime, physical and mental abuse and attacks against the person, and a zero tolerance towards anti-social behaviour and theft.

  • A Government that creates an environment for investment, and seeks to support and leverage the IP and ideas created in the UK, by the people of the UK, for the greater good and benefit of, the people of the UK.

  • A Government that will address the issues of people who wish to "opt out" of society, but then expect "society" to fund their lives and their life choices. For the avoidance of doubt, I would have no issue in seeing Government run work camps being brought back. If you are able, and claim benefits, I expect you to give something back to the society, and the community, that is supporting you through your receipt of tax payer funded benefits. For instance, people who get benefits should in turn be made to work in their communities to "pay back" those benefits. That work should be focused on improving the community for all - litter picking. Green space maintenance. Graffiti cleaning. Land clearance. Etc. IKf you don't turn up. If you don't do the work. You lose the benefit. Simple. Harsh. Fair to all.

  • A Government that will clamp down, with an iron fist, on benefit cheats. That will make cheating on benefits a socially unacceptable activity. Any an all monies saved by the clampdown should be diverted and used to fund better support for those who really need it. A mental or physical disability. A life changing medical condition. These people already have enough to suffer, as an ethical society we should be compelled to want them to have a decent life. People who need medical equipment at home, should not have to worry about how they are going to pay the energy bill for this equipment to keep them alive.

  • A Government that has the guts, and the balls, to stop the illegal economic migration into this country. No longer should illegal migrants be given housing, financial support and healthcare, AHEAD of legitimate UK citizens and recognised, established refugees who are here through fleeing torture, death, etc.

I count the above as the priorities for any incoming Government. But I cannot see ANY party that would, or could, deliver on these things.

What have I missed, or, do you disagree with?

You are Nigel Farage, and I claim my £10  .😄

Margate Exotics.

Farage ain't offering that. They all just pissing in to the same pot, and that's what is wrong with our politics right now.

No doubt the European Court of Human Rights will be all over this and rain down swift justice.

Oh wait, how silly of me, of course they won't as I bet the Greek Government doesn't throw money at shyster "no win, now fee" Lawyers and their "get me rich quick" scams.

Absolutely shocking but I really do doubt justice will be served.

Just by going by the ad boards in people's gardens or windows I'm just not seeing the amount of Labour ones which we should in comparison. I know many people can't be arsed and maybe it's the underdogs who put them up?

On my last car journey of 8 miles, I counted 3 Labour 2 Reform 2 Conservative, and 2 Lib Dems. Didn't know lib Dems were still going and who;s thinking of voting Conservative??

I reckon the betting scandal explains the unexpected General Election date, only 4 days in to the “second half of the year” as Rishi promised. The Conservatives realised that a huge number of them are going to lose their jobs, so tipped off their MPs to help get a decent Golden Handshake from the bookies. Possibly.

Frankly, I couldn't give a monkeys fart about betting. Its all bullshit for those who already hate the Tories to just jump back on the "Outrage" bandwagon.

Yup. Just about sums up Starmer for me. He's Captain Flip Flop and Major Wishy Washy.

I agree that he will say anything to get elected. The fun will begin when the new Labour Government opens Parliament.

As the Kaiser Chiefs said, "I, predict a riot".
