Only downside I suppose is that it means the Evora will be off the road for a little longer while I wrestle to get this fitted in between visits to A&E to have various parts of my hands and arms stitched back together,  .

so 🙄 second attempt ... funeral yesterday and i learnt a dear relative was also terminal well last night it really crushed me but today i visited dear terry i took some family pics he hadnt seen and went in the evora which he hadnt seen, whilst he hadnt the strength to walk outside he saw the car through the window and adored it and empathised with why i had bought it, we had a lovely few hours looking at family pics and chatting etc last night i posted this in what made me unhappy but i asked for it to be removed because today it kinda made me happy instead ? difficult ...

So LotusRescue is off on another jaunt to deepest Englandshire with trailer on tow to collect our latest rescue. Nice little Elan M100 S1. So if you see a Gold coloured VW Amarok with a big covered trailer adorned with our new logo on the back and sides, gives us a toot. Should be round the Nottingham area about midday Sunday then heading straight back North again. This little gem has loads of history and only needs some light mechanical restoration. Anyone fancy an M100 at a sensible price.

been frantically painting the bottom floor of dads windmill this week as the first wedding is in three weeks (ahhhhhhhhhhhhh) kinda broke the back of it yesterday so couldnt be bothered to do anything with a brush today and took a pic of the outside instead of the inside lols man she gets some looks !!!

Remnants of an early Elite which I rescued from a 15 year slumber in a hedgerow for some parts which included a good set of chrome and some other odds and ends. Picked it up of my flatbed trailer with a forklift and the chassis fell off it. The roof has been saved to replace on on another car which had an aftermarket sunroof poorly fitted. There is a far bigger collection indoors. 12 at the last count I think. All projects which will be sold on to other enthusiasts. Saves certain companies from getting hold of them and breaking them up as they are all viable projects. Some of the projects in the attached pic. Remainder are indoors.

Mildred has left for pastures new just after the pic was taken. The Ekup is there, just out of sight. Three others in there filling up the barn again with few more indoors. One more due to arrive on Monday. Space is getting real tight again.

A few other changes since you were last up the yard Kieran. Couple more Elite's, Eclats, Esprits and an Elan.

The Evora seats (well, the driver's side in particular) were looking a little 'second-hand' after nearly 11 years and 76k miles so as the driver's one was out anyway to access the pedal-box I whipped the other out too and sent them both off for a refurb.

For once - I’m feeling smug on the eve of said anniversary. Card, present, restaurant booked, flowers sorted. This doing less work caper is really helping.

@johnpwalsh - she’s bought a fair few eggs and only managed to hatch a single drake - these things are somewhat thin on the ground and rather specialist. I used to be big into my poultry - and won’t buy or get involved in them anymore as it’s a rather addictive hobby. Managed to secure her three girls and a drake from a top uk breeder - 4 hour round trip to collect the things yesterday. 
They are tucked up in a new enclosure outside.
