BTW did anyone else see the 2026 Winter Games are to be held in Milan/Cortina? I wonder if that means the FYEO Skating Rink will get a refurb?

As per the Classic Team Lotus recent post on FB - Great to see  the Belgravia Concours – the beautiful Turbo Lotus Esprit of Peter Boita won the ‘Most Original Car’ award, from a field of 200 cars. A really impressive achievement.

The Belgravia Concours is a prestigious classic car event that is held annually in the lush five acre gardens of Belgrave Square in the heart of London.

I thought I recognised the car with those white wheel and louvres - its the one featured in Jeremy Walton's Esprit Complete Story Book............ - just found my copy to check! Glad to see its still around and so very nice!

I just noticed you left the 70th sticker (^^), and then noticed you don't have the top part of the windscreen smoked? Was it optional?

I warned him not to install the screen upside down.

This is the screen that was fitted when I bought the car, I think it may have a slight green tint, but not sure. It's just as well there's no smoked top, as I sit so high in the car I wouldn't be able to see.

That bloody sticker drives me crazy, I hate anything stuck in the windscreen. Sadly, the wife likes it and says it has to stay, so I'm working on a gradual removal plan.

The top smoked part basically covers only the roof thickness so I suspect it's more to hide it from the exterior than really shade any sun for the eyes.

(I think it was optional but I am not sure, I think I read it in a price list ... but could have imagined that as well :D)

When i see pictures like that I am so tempted to look for an S4S but know I would regret selling my G cars.  maybe should just get a 3rd.  That really looks lovely  Ian.
