BA - it's all over

Finally agreed my 'leaving' date from BA: 31 December.  My value set and that of BA's leadership are now sufficiently divergent to be irreconcilable.  I refused to apply for my own job, thus will enter CTS (Career Transition Scheme) on 1 January 2017.  This is a contractual scheme that pays me full salary and benefits for up to a year, together with a redundancy package that diminishes with time, whilst allegedly helping me to find another job.  Suffice to say I will have plenty of spare time on my hands to get involved in exciting stuff.

A brave new world awaits.  There are many openings for my skill set, but after 32 years I'm not sure I want to work for someone else again!  Reckon I'll need a lot more hand cleaner.

Blue latex gloves mate, that's the way to go. Good luck with life after BA. For me I'm delighted to report that life after HP has been significantly more enjoyable since I got out, I'm sure it will be the same for you what ever happens next.

You've done an UK Beltfest and a Scandinavian one, just take a look at the TLF member map there are a lot more Esprit cambelts out there that are bound to need changing, with proper planning you could circumnavigate the globe entirely funded by belt changes.

One other thing, do you think that engine hoist would fit in the container John is suggesting?
