I live near Shawbury and have regular flyovers by helis.

I asked the base commander and they are regularly well under 400ft. Standard Flight radar app won't help but ADSB flight tracker shows low level activity.

I've just wrapped on some fire safety and training videos for Surrey Fire and Rescue, really interesting work!

Was at their training establishment yesterday and took the Mini 2 although it was all ground filming, always worth popping it in the back of the car...

Some camera porn. My neighbour bought this home from work yesterday, a Sony Venice which is about £100k's worth of camera including the accessories before you even start on the box of lenses!

I’ve been onboard that sub, maybe 25 years ago.

It was bought by a guy who wanted to turn it into a tourist attraction, serving meals on board and hiring it for parties and so on. The Port of London Authority eventually gave up chasing the owner for the pilotage charges, and for a long time it was moored in Folkestone harbour. It was open to the public, and I paid it a visit, I have some photos of it somewhere.

I cannot be sure but I suspect non-payment of mooring fees might have hastened a move to a mooring in the River Medway, and it’s been there ever since. As with anything like this, there’s probably a restoration society involved somewhere along the line. Thing is, it really needs to be out of the water. Boats are fine until you put them in the water.

I can see them all and they're lovely.  Have you tried turning it off and on again?
