Just watched it. Stunning cinematography but an amazing interpretation of the book, indeed a very hard watch.

Just finished it. Despite some questionable story threads, I quite liked it. The music though in places was so over the top and grandiose it was laughable.

It's rare to find really good SF on the small screen. The Peripheral is based on a William Gibson novel and is quite brilliant. It's available on Prime.

Why did they have a London Premiere last night for Netflix TV series “The Crown”? I thought that Premieres were a movie “thing”? There are 10 episodes to see, so they’re probably still all sat there watching it!

I just knew being in the SAS would've been fun. What could be better than tear-assing across the desert in a jeep but tear-assing across the desert in a jeep to blow things up!

Bloody hell, this is a fantastic series. Again, more good hard SF on the small screen. Season 2 already commissioned. All round great performances, especially Tom Burke (he of Utopia Season 2).

Never heard of the books, but thought the TV Series was excellent.  Oldman is magnificent.

I have read all the books and Oldman has got him absolutely spot on. It is a brilliant series

1883 on Paramount is one of the best Cowboys (and most vicious) I have watched. Absolutely brilliant.

Godless on Netflix.  Old-school Western.  Each episode over an hour. Great production values. Just about to finish the last episode.  Enthralling.
