Bibs is a really nice guy and does a brilliant job with TLF. Sometimes I think that he underestimates what he achieves with this forum and is probably loathe to say it. However, I will.

If you are an Esprit owner who gets value from TLF - I know that I do in so many ways - then PLEASE sign up and subscribe to be a Full Forum Member. It is not a lot of dosh a year and ensures that we keep this community going and most importantly GIVING.

No apologies for preaching here, I notice a lot of long term posters who have not contributed.

C'mon people. The newest production Esprit is now some 13 years old and we all want to keep these fantastic cars going forever if we can. This place is the best resource on the Internet for doing that.

I want to add the FFM is also a very good deal for non-UK residents. Apart from the very valuable info, I met some nice people (and Sparky), and even got my 2 Loti via TLF! Filip

Yup @swindon_alan you got it spot on. A great resource for any Lotus owner frankly.

has saved me many £££ the tips on here.  And have learnt some less than perfect sex tips as well :lol:

As I have said before it is worth £20 just of the ,"view new content" button. 

Also when you are FFM and you order a brolley you pay for one and get two :P

Gold FFM is worth it too imho IF you want a Certificate of Provenance for your car.

CoP is normally £75 direct from Lotus, so including it with membership is a really good way of supporting Bibs and getting your cars build history.

While I agree with all of you, that being a ffm here is certainly worth it and pays back many times, both in terms of saved costs and meeting up with some of you great Guys, I will have to dissagree with Barry, who claims it have saved him lots of Money being a ffm. Or even a member here. I will claim that Barry being a member here, will have cost him lot's of Money spent on even more Lotus cars. Money he could have saved up for buying a brand new Prius... ;)

Other than that, all the rest of us saves a big chunk of dough, and having fun in the meantime ;)

Go on Barry, you know you want another Esprit...

I wont be buying another - well not for a while. Don't want to be getting a name for sneakily dealing in these beasts.

my garage is indeed now complete - ahh - but the other day I was given permission to purchase a 4 seater lotus. So one will be added at some point for sure, but one will NOT be giving way - I always wanted a g car and a later one.

On a serious note though - we have @Sparky who is renowned for his top tips, @swindon_alan who can cross ref stuff, @mike_sekinger who's the guru of all things v8, @ian29gte with his fetishes of rubber and lube - the list goes on and on and on. Undoubtedly with the community on here - frankly yes it has saved a fortune over chucking the car keys at a garage to look after

Especially if he can lay his hands on a rubber belt. He really takes joy in those. And I had the cambelt changed. Win-Win.

Funny you should say that!  I've been discussing it with Kim today.  Soren wants some work done.  I think we'll definitely do something this year.
