It’s a great colour and @Sizona had as possibly his top choice before he went Military Grey. Keep us posted on progress, must be one of the last GT430’s for sure.

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

Hi Greg,

as Trevor has stated the GT430 is an amazing car, hope you can do a deal with Jamie.

There are quite a few available at the moment so I'm sure a good deal can be had!

True there are a few available but if you want the Sparco seats that narrows it down a bit as does colour/location. Also better to deal with someone you know and trust, has a great reputation. I’ve not looked at what’s actually available new and unregistered on forecourts, makes a difference with manufacturers warranty. Also the reason I’ve not looked is important to me. If I’m edgey about ownership then I tend to watch what’s available and the prices. If I’m happy then it doesn’t bother me at all, as is the case here.

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

My old car is for sale.... easily the cheapest 430GT I have seen on the market.

Why is that?

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Because completely coincidently I decided to change my car at almost exactly the same time as the factory gave Leven Lotus the Goodwood blue show car and of course Leven Lotus already have their new Orange one which has been there for ever. I traded mine back to Leven Specialist in exchange for my 600LT and so they have decided to keep the car themselves and try to sell it from Corstorphine Road.

So the Leven group now find themselves with 3 GT430s on their books and I guess they just want/ need to move some of them on.

Furry muff.  Never understood why their burnt orange one hasn't sold but if it keeps falling in price then who knows lol.....

Your blue one was nice, but there seems to have been quite a few in that colour - I know of at least 3, two in Scotland lol....

I wonder if its the seats. For me its a perfect spec.....if I didn't have my GTE. i appreciate most people prefer the sparcos but I just can't get on with them. I must be long in the body because I always feel im looking out the top of the windscreen with them.

We have the standard seats and don’t have any issues, each to their own

If by standard you mean the carbon buckets like the ones I have in the 410 Sport then I agree with you! @jonnyboy's brackets do make a difference to those seats and at around £100 a cheap mod.

Yes the carbon bucket seats, haven't done the bracket mod certainly something we will consider in the years to come.

Wow - that looks impressive in that particular green!! Very much like a Porsche colour to my eyes🤔

Edit - just looked on Autotrader and JCT600 are showing their green GT430 as Olive Green and looking much duller than the pic above - do they have 2?

I have been watching the burnt orange 430 at Levens for the past 9 months or so. Although the colour was not a natural 'first choice'  it seems to work really well with the carbon and black alloys. The car also has the carbon buckets, which I personally prefer to the Sparcos. Anyway the new/nearly new demo car market seems to be favouring buyers just now. As a result fortunately the car had come down to an attractive price point that encouraged me to take the plunge and do a deal with Levens.

I'm getting across to Edinburgh this weekend to pick up the car and p/ex my 410. Obviously greatly looking forward to getting my hands on it and seeing how it compares overall with the 410. My thanks to @The Pits for his encouragement and knowledge sharing during the car selection process. 😎

Well done pal, like I said at the weekend my favourite 430 out there, hope to catch up with you again soon so I can see it in the flesh 👍

Have admired your new GT430 many times as I visit the dealership regularly with work and it’s who I purchased my Exige through. It’s a lovely car - I’m sure you’ll love it👏🏻👏🏻

I am so glad you bought that @blindside as my resolve was weakening as the price weakened. Lovely car and congratulations.
