Slowly making sense of the pile of bits sj sent. 

Most bits loosely sat in place or on the car now.

with the exception of the trailing arm bushes. Now here lies a story. Drivers side hanging off. Brake pipes not in the best of condition - calipers now disconnected. The bolt is stuck solid in the trailing arm. It’s gotta come off and out to sort that. No doubt the other side will be equally as problematic

Both trailing arms removed now. 

Took 28ton on the press to get the stuck bolt to move - it was somewhat bent.

Ive gotta do the early morning swimming run tomorrow - as that coincides nicely with the fact pirtek can make up some nice new braided brake pipes.

Not especially - these are made while you wait in a selection of colours. Stainless 316 fittings and HEL uk made pipes.

in this instance it’s different from the offering at SJ

All the rear stuff now fitted on the car awaiting the shocker top mount adapters.

Breakfast club at shelsley this morning.

Pressed the arb into the lower arms on the way home from work last night.

Bar itself painted - I’ll fit them on today in anticipation of the arrival of the shocker mounts.

hopefully I’ll sort the lower link inserts today as well

track rod ends off and new ones on.

lower link inserts out. Takes a bit of patience, some nuts, bolts and appropriate spacers. Clean them up - and back in they shall go later on. I’d actually been dreading that job with the horror stories on here and the cost of replacement hubs. But frankly it was a doddle - about 30minutes a side to remove
