I would love to join you again this year, but the Esprit will be decommissioned this month to start the restoration process. Hopefully it will all be done for next years show, looking gleaming new with a new paint job and engine overhaul. Have fun!

Well finally tickets are available

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT !

1)  Visit the Events Page Here:

2) Click on IWM Duxford Car Show 2018

3) Click Next and then Enter Promo Code  SCS18 then click Apply

4) Select the number of tickets you require and remember this is per person NOT per Car.

5) Click next and pay for your Ticket(s) using your chosen method.

6) When the Confirmation Screen appears I would suggest you click "Show Email" and print / save your Ticket.

Once you've done all the above forward your confirmation email to  duxfordcorporate@iwm.org.uk and request a vehicle display permit. I would suggest something similar to the following to be on the safe side:

 

Hi,

 Could you please send me a Spring Car Show  Display Permit.

My Details are as below:

Name:                Your Name

Booking Ref:     Your Booking Reference Number (from ticket email)

Car:                   Your Car

Reg No:             Your Registration Plate Number

However have it on good authority from Exige_Man just sending them your booking reference isn't enough !

The official wording says "All ticket types for all Car Shows will be available until 12 midday the Friday before the event takes place (subject to availability),

However to secure your place you need to buy a ticket ASAP, otherwise it would be unfair of me to turn people away who would definitely come and are happy to buy a ticket. I do take your point though I've been in the same situation myself on occasions.

Just been talking to Duxford and apparently your Display Permit contains the Barcode from your e-ticket so you MUST send them a copy of your Ticket as a PDF file when requesting a display permit.
