Sounds like it’s being done properly, with dealers getting together on the Friday before the event on the Saturday.

Bibs, could we not start a thread that titles where it is and when and have a sign up section?

For those that don't know I am only 5 miles from Hethel and fully intend to be involved with everything. Remembering back to the last piss up the night before at Dunston Hall and seeing lots of hung over people staggering about with record burger and water sales was excellent! LMAO!

Just an aside for those who are organising other places to stay than Dunston/ Park Farm. I will (at some point today) do a definative list for you with recommendations of B&B's and Hotels. BUT it should be pointed out that the last few times we have done this Bibs has organised an almighty "Get together" (which is short for Sparky and Kimbers can't remember what we did) at Dunston Hall and we had some special guests to chat to on a personal basis. So try and stay local cause you wouldn't want to miss it!

Now far be it for me to go over Bib's head but I for one know a couple of guys who would love to meet you all and chat about the old times! Infact, one of them even knows a few people who may want to come down as well, such as old Engineers, designers etc, for an informal chat (and of course free beer cause you would all buy them drinks).

Hope @Bibs will soon announce any arrangements he was able to make with Dunston or Park. I”m currently holding off my booking at the expense of the risk of it being fully booked. Let aside the fact that I’d like to propose a Lotus Festival trip to Belgian Lotus owners.

The Event itself is on the Saturday. 

What historically has happened is that we tend to have a party the previous evening and Bibs will invite a few "interested parties" along. Last time that was MJK and Peter Stevens. I Also know MJK meets regularly with the old crowd so potentially could be anyone who wants a few beers and to chat to enthusiasts.

We then tend to travel "en Mass" to the "location" in this case the Factory. I am sure Bibs can get the local press and Lotus Press people involved and last time we made the papers and had a Police Escort of a Lotus Evora.....sadly Lotus withdrew their support of the Police Evora and the Police now have a Porsche  . It really makes a weekend of it. Some even stay the Saturday night and make their way home on the Sunday.

Ive always thought Kimbers very nice back garden would be great for camping 😜 Probably a month too late in the year though.

Dunston was great last time. Hope there is plenty of rooms.

Dunston is fine. Park Farm is better if money isn't an object.

Dunston is more expensive right now because of demand so on that recommendation I've booked Park Farm
