The increased number of potholes could well be proportional to the increased level of traffic over the years. I say this having sat in God knows how many traffic jams yesterday. And it’s going to get worse around my area, thousands of new builds going up.

Indeed. I did read that Jos was instrumental in Max’s early training and approach to F1. However, given his recent performances, it could be argued that Max no longer needs that kind of thing.

Technically, you cannot be sacked for being sick. Instead, you can be sacked for being unable to fulfill your contractual duties. It's how companies get shot of malingerers these days. Long-term sickies in a small company can have a paralysing effect, and even cause businesses to fold. -

Don’t blame you for doing something else. The track’s about as inspiring as a Margate council estate. In fact, there’s more excitement on a Margate council estate.

I think that pretty much everyone around Horner’s level in F1 is there for the prestige, and reward.

Even if Horner does get the order of the boot, I can’t see him sitting around idle for too long. Once a suitable amount of time had passed for everyone to forget his peccadillos, or to focus on the next big F1 scandal or revelation, he’ll be snapped up.
