Evora ran out of mot just before xmas - so today she’s booked in. Not liking the looks of the weather

so it all started so well - and then went tits up. Now stuck awaiting a second pair of hands 😩

Winter tyre fitting abandoned until tomorrow. Finally having breakfast.

We have lived west of exeter for almost 13 years and only had a few days where the roads were really difficult and 2 days when we stayed in due to some steep roads near us. my parents lived in dawlish (where the trains have difficulty with the sea), from 1986 and they have seen even less snow than exeter.

We’ve had some pretty special snow levels up here - most winters we get a little bit - every few we get a right proper dumping

So after much looking at mine today by another enthusiast the list of imperfections on mine is as follows.

Tyres - due a change - I have 4 winters sat waiting to go on.

brake discs - fronts maybe need a change sometime soon.

passenger window - it’s trying to drop - needs assistance - so I’ll spray that tomorrow

ppf - one small area on passenger side rear where I got a bit keen with the steamer

boot - leak defo present - I’m on the case.

two wheels could do with a small refurb - bloody pot holes

stereo - it’s shit 😆

 

not bad for a nearly 12 year old car.
