What made you happy today?

As I would say about any Esprit, that lego box is some serious piece of kit. That can and will only make one happy.

How many pieces?

And how many pages of assembly instructions?

Kind regards,

Jacques

ps: yeah, sure the Esprit is the Black monolith and the ones knocking each other over is the german car industry. Or some infamous guys from the far West and the far East. Always making trouble...

Nobody does it better - than Lotus ;)

That's an interesting build, particularly with the transmission!

British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland.  And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden.

Brake lights fixed and only one call to the Sparkster fixed within 10mins cheers chap. First drive since festival, nice to have a weekend off, now drinking lots of beer as doing sober for Oct which should be in the what made you unhappy today (tomorrow) thread

Fixed our central heating. New 3 way valve plumbed in the loft. Wasn't looking forward to a day up there doing that but all done now and working fine. Current Mrs H is very pleased too, which is a rare and marvellous thing...

Good successful weekend (except for not being able to get to SWLC open day). 1 Dyson repaired, Parts ordered for 2nd Dyson, Central Heating fixed, Lotus fixed (broken driver side door check strap replaced and window frame re-aligned), identified farm water system leak and temporarily fixed pending parts.

I would suggest that I could go for world peace next week but that is a bit unlikely having suggested to the misses that she should give the Dyson a really good testing.

I recall pulling a Dyson vacuum apart, to ascertain the parts needed, and became rather annoyed that the parts (genuine from Dyson) come to more than their capped price for coming out and fixing it.

Edit- Aslo not sure if I'm happy yet, or perhaps not sure if I'm unhappy yet. Just agreed to purchase a newer daily driver car. That means I actually have to empty the old car, and clean it (to some extent). Right, we have what made...happy, and what made....unhappy. We need -What generated no discernible emotional change, but should have.

I've been to quite a few processing centres where mobiles are not allowed. You hand them in at reception and get them back when you leave.  Bag checks and security screeners like at airports too to make sure you are not sneaking one in

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I done a job at Dyson, the only place where your mobile is taken from you and put in a sealed bag until you leave.

It ain't the only place - I can promise that

Only here once

You want to try working in prisons.    Oddly some of the open ones Ive worked in take more off you than the more secure ones.   That could be down to a raised security level for that day I guess.
