I finally got the money from the sale of my car - agonising 8 hours haha.

Now to wait for the finance agreement to come through!

My amazing wife has been painting (as many of you know as you own some of her paintings) to relax for some time now and has just won her first accolade. And it is MASSIVE! She has only gone and got a painting in the Queens Private collection, chosen by the Queens Curator of Art! And by winning the competition, won £1000 and will be the central painting at the prestigious Eton and Windsor Art Fayre in November! She will also have a stand there with loads of her paintings! Amazing stuff and anyone who owns one of her paintings has just seen them rise substantially in value.

Yes mate, we were one of only 8 Artists allowed into the Queens Private Garden next to the Royals Private appartments in Windsor Castle. That is the view from the battlements that surround it. Everyone else painted inward looking at the Castle and it was one reason Wendy was commended.

The Photos don't give you the perspective like in real life. The Official quote was "We felt we could reach out and touch the stone and the lichen". After being there with her, I have to say thats exactly what it looked like
