V6 engine from Japan and 4 cylinder sourced from Germanynit seems, i5bis unclear if this will be 2 engines for the same car or 2 variants of the 131 that will look a bit different and have different engines.

i think we cannot exclude that the 131 will end up being a full range of cars.

Article says            will be unveiled in full on Tuesday, 27 April 2021 -

I hope full means full in this case, not morse code photos.

So maybe the FOS will be the first time it will be possible to actually see it and see it move..

Can someone please link to the quoted Autocar story on that Australian website, which confirms that Toyota will not be supplying the V6 in the 131 and that its replacement will have 500 bhp (373 kw)?

Seems odd that none of us have seen this new Autocar report yet.

The 3.5ltr twin turbo (excluding the electric motors I believe) in the latest Honda NSX is rated at 373kw!!!  550nm of torque between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

No that’s the link to the Australian website. I want to see a link to the UK Autocar story from which they claim to be getting their information. My guess is that it doesn’t exist.

Autocar are not really a reliable source of info

Our latest contender for "understatement of the year" just in...

Given all their totally fictitious photoshop rendering of "new" models they'd be better of rebranding as a comic!

Apologies if this has already been posted anywhere but you know about this right? https://drivingtomorrow.lotuscars.com

It's the live stream of the announcements tomorrow.  PR confirmed to me it's for the public too.  Not sure why the username or password - maybe for the press to get their writing early before the 1215 embargo.

I said I think the top of the line 131 needed a 5 at the beginning of its power number. If the 373kw is true then that would confirm that it will at least be 500HP.
