Emira Picture & Video Thread

Ideally I'd love a blue interior with Yellow exterior in a nod to the old Camel days, I did ask Lotus but they weren't interested which is a shame, even thought about getting Allon White to re-trim it but that does seem a bit stupid, even for me.

Can you expand on this at all? I'm currently going yellow with red interior but I keep thinking about changing to Alcantara with yellow stitch

It was more like this (the stick itself) than I was hoping... or about as close as I remember it... have Hendy's in Pool got a sample you could look at?

NB Others who have been to the factory might remember it differently.

Maybe a touch. But I’m not expecting that to dramatically raise the nose. Looks the same one the grey one

Interesting ride height at the front of both cars there. Odd disparity to front and rear

It's down to the angle the photo is taken from - camera perspective. Nothing more sinister than that.

Turn your own car slightly inwards at the front and you will see what I mean

Copied over from the "other" forum....... Pre-prod cars in real-world testing?

These are two of the many cars given to staff to drive 100s of miles a week for mileage accumulation testing.  There have been several spotted across the UK and a few in Europe.

😆 I've gone for McD spec, as long as I'm lovin' it when it turns up I'll be more than happy!

I would think it might be similar to Lexus' dark rose which photos quite red but in reality its a nice shade.

It's the final version.  The originals of the pictures were taken at the Lotus Melbourne roadshow with the more recent pre-production Seneca Blu Emira a couple of days ago.

But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-23) Lotus Emira FE 400 (23-..)

Not exactly test conditions with specialist timing gear(and just one run shown), but that was around 4.7-4.9 secs to 60mph and 10.7-11.0 secs to 100mph. Really need to see it done with professional timing and several runs.
