I haven't had my email to complete 2nd deposit stage.

I will get in touch with the guy I normally speak with and find out why. I spoke with him few weeks ago and have been waiting for the link.

This morning I received my call and the URL to save my spec and pay my £3k, both of which have now been done.  I guess it's just a waiting game now, roll on next spring!

I don’t think anyone has had an email about second deposit unless they’ve contacted Lotus.

The outbound exercise to i4 people was supposed to start on 8 April but looks to have been delayed.

I've regretfully pulled my deposit today due to the burden that is home-ownership taking priority. I now hope they depreciate very fast so I can get one in a year or two 🤣

I'm really disappointed, especially after living with the hype of owning one of the first since last July. But the house needs a decent chunk of work doing if we're either to a) love it and stay, or b) hate it and sell it on, and tying up close to £80k in a vehicle seems borderline irresponsible 😆

Place a deposit on the 27 July and have just had the email saying November build and December delivery.

I may just switch to a launch edition and spec as I want, have a few months to make changes anyway so will sit on it for a bit.

They appear to be contacting people with UK V6 FE deposits after 12 July to advise target delivery batches from Sept to Dec.  I've not seen anyone saying Jan 2023 or later yet.

Second shift is due to be in place much sooner than originally planned, so they will do some catching up.

Well I was a 10th July deposit.  Have already told them I do not want a LE V6 as want a test drive first and probably not even a LE i4 as don't particularly like any of the 6 colours.  What do I get today from Lotus?  E-mail stating need to lock in my V6 spec by 1st May and by 6th May no changes.  Car will be finished Sept. and delivered October!  Well that must be good news for somebody!  Just not me.

I contacted somebody who is wanting a LE i4 (not on our list) who's deposit was a few days ahead of me and he has heard nothing to date!  Passed the info on to him and he phoned them to get his i4 Link sent out for speccing. Seemed a bit of confusion today.  Who would have guessed.

However a final paragraph did say "News around test drives will be shared in the coming weeks."

My last contact with Lotus was on the 15th October when I was asked to confirm engine spec, as I’m going for i4 they advised they will call back at a later date. Yet to get that call but really don’t want to take delivery midwinter, plus I would like to see some cars beforehand, so just chilling 🥶 hope it doesn’t develop to cooling 🥱😳

 So with an 8th July (Goodwood Thursday) first deposit  I appear to be early in the i4 FE build schedule. 2nd deposit made and config link completed 12th April.

Just had an email from Lotus confirming that specification will be  locked on 1st July for November build and December delivery! 🙂

I’m 12th July for i4, email states delivery in 2023 but no detail of spring/ summer and have not had contact for a second deposit yet.

Phone call today saying my 7th July deposits delivery is still on for July, asked to fact check a few things, 225 V6 cars will be delivered in July, 1000 cars should be delivered in 2022, 4-5k current deposits, if you order an fe today its estimated 14-18 month wait. Our next actual payment is thought to be 2 weeks before delivery, the amount that will be wasn't confirmed. i4 deliveries are December

Seems quite a lot of people were undecided i4 or v6 on the list. Have many firmed up their decision?

I’m still very uncertain about going for an Emira at all. Not because I worry about the car but because it would have to replace the Exige..

99% of the order dates on that list will have had to have confirmed which engine they were having by now
