Wow, if so that looks like an absolute steal.

The wheels and rear lights alone will be worth close to £4k.

That's my old one that then went to @top-plumber and Schumacher...

We sold it as was no longer compliant with the ULEZ. As you know it was Shelly Schumacher ‘s daily for years and we did the Hethel 70th in it.
we let it go for 5k as I wanted a quick sale.

Yep. That's the one. It was v cheap on Facebook, I think less than £5k.

Description odd, it seems to suggest it was owned by Mike Kimberley when discovered this year. I'm sure @Kimbers can clarify

The guy who bought it got in contact with me to see what he might do with it, I suggested various things like asking our leader or Scott W or putting it into a museum. But seems to have decided to sell at a profit. Think he had been in contact with some current / ex Lotus guys as well.

Alarm bells? Can't even spell MJK's surname correctly. Last time I spoke to MJK at Castle Combe he didnt have an M100 prototype hiding in a barn 🤔

Caveat Emptor.

1992 Lotus Elan M100 3k

but it will need someone who has the time and the know how to get it through its MoT, will make a good project for someone.
It starts first turn of the key and runs ok its has a tappet rattle, and a slight oil leak.

Sold at Coy's auction at Silverstone many years ago. Would be interesting to have this interesting car. Might get you an invite to the Lotus staff reunion or garden party?
