The "I'm Getting Old" Topic!

Feeling my age today after 2 days of running 2 miles followed by 20 mins of high intensity weights. Plus maybe a bottle of wine didn't help.

Which got me thinking of that old phrase "You know you're getting old when........"

It started for me

You know you're getting old when you sell your Exige cause it hurts your back, and buy an Evora which doesn't

Several years down the line its become 

You know you're getting old when you make more noises getting out of bed in the morning than the rest of the day put together!

My Knee's crack, my shoulder grinds and WHERE DID ALL THIS HAIR COME FROM!!! And it's not where its meant to be! I pulled a whisker off the top of my nose FFS!!

Look's like Danny's car is the same age as me so I don't know whether I'm getting old or not. I suffer from a dodgy back and have done for a long time so you could say I've felt old for years!

Just bought a pair of +1 glasses as the small print in dark light was getting blurry. Not too bad to get through 56 years without needing any sight support.

Worst thing about getting older for me is that my sleep pattern is shot to pieces. Combination of shifts when younger, and 20 years of flying all over the world constantly which probably is the cause of my increasingly sore back.  Good point though is that I can now fall asleep in seconds, anywhere, at any time. Just cannot stay asleep for more than a couple of hours at a time.

Oi, you cheeky bugger! There's life in the old dog yet. I even bought a new boat and will be sailing it next week.

Definately part of the "Where has all this hair come from!!" I look like the below if my Barber doesn't do them!

Just bought my first one of these due to my ears looking like spiders were in them!

Just had my first ever eye test at 75. Don't need glasses yet.
