Difficult to emphasise to anyone today how futuristic these were back in the day to someone only just in double figures...............especially that dash. £33k was an unbelievable amount of money as well considering the average house price in '78 was about £12k! One of my sons has just started working at AM - Thought it looked hilarious when I showed him!

They are like busses, you don't see one for ages (for ever in my case). Then all of a sudden you see 6 all at once

That's a car where the styling has me torn, I find it ugly to the extreme, yet it has elements that should make me like it.

It's an 80s wedge, it has a front similar to a BMW M1 of the era, but with a "traditional" grill, and yet.... It looks like it's a kit car inspired by something by Gerry Anderson.

That Lagonda was my favorite car as a kid. 

Took a photo of one in the flesh in 1981 near the National History Museum and next to an Aston Martin Bulldog.  My jaw was on the floor.

From the last year we've seen that they do seem to get along quite well. OK, they've had hassles, but none of the common mutual disrespect we've seen from so many F1 drivers.

I recently came across 2 photos of my very first Lotus. I had almost forgotten about it. Thinking about it, that must be how it all started. It was gift from my grand parents, and I'm very happy granddad is in the photo with me.

The second pic shows the car was competitive for quite a few years.
