Cant recommend this company highly enough mainly on price, but I didn't have the usual hassle from other companies like Flux, FJ, Hagerty, Lancaster etc as detailed below. Here's a bit of a quiz for you - match the insurance company to the bullshit!

Extortionate price despite once being the market leader for Classic/Cherished multi-car policies

Taking half an hour to get through as an existing policy holder

Explaining that an Elise is a 2 seater, but I don't care whether they call it a 'sports car' or not

Yes my wife has the same surname as me

Not getting a 'loading' because of the crash my wife had 2 years ago, when some dickhead driving towards her chose to do a U turn in front of her

Only having one daily use car as I work from home and walk, cycle or use the bus

Needing 3 cars for a multi-car policy

Not old enough to be a Cherished car

I could go on, but its a very boring topic I know, so just speak to Darren at AIB and save yourself a lot of stress!

Your ears must have been burning Bibs as AIB mentioned you by name, or at least 'what's that bloke who runs The Lotus Forum with the strange name?'

I assured him I didn't think Bibs was your proper name and to stop calling me Mutley at least until he knew me better!

No more F&J for me after they screwed me over with their "included" track day insurance - that cost me £100 extra on the day.

£169.09 with Darren @ AIB. Job done.

Hi guys. Tried to get a quote from AIB today. Have progressed over the last three years from two different elises to now an exige s but was unfortunately turned down as AIB don't think they can get me a good price and don't include trackdays. Tried my current insurer who have quoted £1300 pa plus they want me to install a tracker. No thanks. Any ideas?

I have my Blue Esprit on Admiral Multi Car but they give a classic car policy.  Agreed value, limited miles etc £118 Fully comp.

The dry sump is with Hagerty. Only reason is I have 5 cars on the multi car and that is the maximum.  Hagerty was about £150.  Will try AIB when its due.

Adrian Flux in my experience are a joke.  I would never even try them now.

I was with Footman James, who do "include" Track Day cover as part of the policy.

Then last year at the B&C day at Goodwood, they charged me £100 for the day, and have refused to refund it, despite it being in the policy documents.

I am no longer with F&J.

I'm sure you don't get out on track much Chris so assume you need the breakdown! :hrhr:

True, only a couple of parade things a year but nice to know that if anything did occur then no worries!

True, no plans to take it to France but nice to have just incase!

Haggerty are more expensive (apart from F+J who are double for some reason) than the few iv'e had quotes from, and are not interested when asked if they can do any better, guess they don't need/want the business..
