Mark,

Is that a tubular manifold for the Esprit turbo, as in for example an SE?

And is it a Mk. II version with improvements in performance?

Better clearance to frame?

Better positioning of turbo in relation to chargecooler?

Changed support bracketry?

Other changes?

Kind regards,

Jacques.

Sorry for the delay,

yes it’s the effectively the MK III, which will fit the SE. This has more clearance than the MKII as it is a tighter design and shares components with the new G car manifold, I'm running the MK II and managed to fit it myself with no problems, the clearance is fine.

The brace has been moved to the top with a new bracket to help reduce exposure to the elements.

As for performance it will be very similar to the MKII with some small enhancements in the CNC collector design being a single piece as with the flanges. The CNC components make it more cost effective to manufacture when producing in higher numbers. They are also more durable.

Sorry for the delay with the pitch, I will have all the info soon.

Thanks,

               Mark

Why would that be?

Kind regards,

Jacques.

ps: mine doesn't even fit on the manifold, being too long, so left it off. As for the slipjoints, they didn't fit either, being too long.

To me it looks like it's bolted to a plate where the heat shield goes, so it's mounted by those 4 bolts.

Using a pinned joint trunnion to support a load in tension is better than compression ;)

From the component parts you can see that 1-4 and 2-3 are coupled but separated from each other.  With a 1-3-4-2 fining order, it should be perfect for a twin-scroll.

Nice!

What turbine inlet flange size is applied. If T4 is possible EFR 6258-G would be perfect.

I used a bolt on T3>T4 adapter to mount my EFR on the Alunox.

Hi looks like we have similar ideas, a T4 turbo flange is available from Alunox and comes with the larger collector

I will post the final dyno results when I finish. I'm running the BorgWarner  EFR6258-G Twin Scroll Turbo supplied by Van Der Lee Turbo Systems.

Hello mark, Can I order a V band flange?I plan to run Garrett G25-660.

My MKII seems too close to chassis tube, I would like to buy a MKIII

are there two version of MKIII? It seems that they have big difference at downpipes from cylinder 2 & 3, one is similar to MKII, another one is a different design.
