Hi Alan

I think that we have

6 x M100 Elan, 1 x Elan Sprint, 1 x Elan +2, 1 x Evora, 4 x Elise, 1 x Turbo Esprit, 1 x Turbo Esprit HC, 1 x V8 Esprit, plus a couple of others too.

It may change on the day since some of us are lucky enough to have two cars - at least one of which might be in running order!

Hello Steve, the organisers prefer it if cars don't drive in and out during public hours (presumably from a safety perspective) but there were plenty of cars doing that last year and it didn't seem to be a problem. If it means that you can come along then go for it! Happy to be corrected by our official organiser though...

It makes sense to not have a free for all with everyone coming and going as they please, i'd love to come for the whole day if i can!  What time do people usually aim to get there and when does it wrap up?

@swindon_alan I spoke to Ian on the weekend and it appears that there are more cars than I thought. Apparently we have over thirty booked in for the Sunday. With the TLF contingent we are gong to have a stand with around fifty cars!

@Kevin Wheeler That will be awesome! I assume that Beaulieu will treat us like they did the Lambo guys last year with a special area and a feature in the programme...

@franjipane advisable to get there around 9am before the public hours of 10:00 to 18:00. Plus you get to have a wander around the cars before the great unwashed are let in!

Yes, when I spoke to organisers originally, they were planning to make a feature of Lotus if we had good support from TLF, Wessex etc etc.

Current: 2021 Lotus Elise Cup 250 FE in Isotope Green, Red Alcantara Interior, Carbon Aero Kit, AirCon, Carpets & Mats, NVH pack, Cruise Control, Stereo, Red Calipers.
Now Gone: 2018 Lotus Elise Sport 220 in Metallic Blue, Alcantara Pack, Forged Wheels, 2piece brakes, AirCon, Hard/Soft Tops, Red Calipers, Stereo, Interior Colour Pack, NVH Pack, Carpets, Mats.
Previously Owned: 2016 Lotus Evora 400, 2010 Lotus Evora NA, 2003 VX220 Supercharged, 2001 VX220 Lightning Yellow

Cheers Lee. Is it worth asking the question of them to confirm? Perhaps a call to Ian @ CL Wessex for a joint effort as it is looking like a 50+ car turnout on the Sunday?

According to Ian at CL Wessex we have a dedicated Lotus area. This includes both CL and TLF.

CL tend to meet at a nearby pub and all drive in together but I think this year we are all being directed to the same part.

Yes fear not, I've been in touch with Beaulieu this afternoon.

 

They are going to align with the three Lotus groups:
Our TLF list
28 cars from Club Lotus
30 cars from Lotus Drivers Club

So a real scope for creating a Lotus feature, leave it with me and I'll report back.

This sounds like a great event, please count us in, not sure the Cup 380 will be ready by then so will probably come in the M100 on the Sunday.
